Bean Curd with Mushroom - serves 4
 

Ingredients:

  • (1)
    4 Chinese mushroom
    1 T. dry shrimp
    3 sections green onion (3cm length)

  • (2)
    2 cups. borth
    2 T. soy sauce
    1 t. sugar
    1/8 t. pepper
    1/2 t. sesame oil

  • (3)
    1 T. cornstarch
    3 T. water

    4 squares bean curd (about 400g)
    3 cups. vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut each bean curd into 2 pieces horizontally.
  2. Soften mushroom with water then cut, soak the shrimp for 5 minutes, then fish out.
  3. Heat oil, stir-fry the bean curd until it becomes golden, take out. Put (1) into the remained oil, when fragrant, add (2) and the bean curd. Use low heat to simmer for 5 minutes, then thicken with (3).
