Dumplings

Ingredients:

2/3 lb. (300g) Chinese cabbage
1/4 lb. (100g) yellow Chinese chives
1/4 lb. (100g) carrots (minced)
2 oz. (60g) dried bean threads
1/2 t. salt

2 T. water
2 T. green onion (minced)
2 T. ginger roots (chopped)
3 T. sesame oil
1 T. soy sauce
1/2 t. salt

lb. (300g) ground beef
75 pieces of dumpling skin

DIRECTIONS:
- Wash and chop cabbage and sprinkle
1/2 t. salt on top. 5 minutes later, squeeze out
water.
- Soften dried bean threads and
then chop. Chop Chinese chives, then mix it with
carrots and bean threads.
- Add (2) into ground beef, mix
well for 3 minutes. Add (1), mix well to make filling.
- Put a spoon of filling in a dumpling
skin (wrapper) and seal tightly. Use up all the
other wrappers by placing the filling inside and
folding.
- Boil water, put dumplings into
the boiling water. When the water reaches a high
boiling point again, add 2/3 cup of cold water,
and then boil again. Add 2/3 cold water again, at
the third boiling point. Let it boil again and then
remove from heat.
- Move dumplings to a plate. Prepare
a mixture from ingredient (2) to dip according to
your own taste. Now enjoy!
