Seaweed and Turnip Soup - serves 4
 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. (200g) Chinese turnip
    2-1/2 oz.(70g) carrots
    3-1/2 oz (100g) pork ribs
    1-3/4 oz (50g) seaweed leaves

    7 cup. water
    3 pieces. ginger root
    1 t. salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut pork ribs into 3 sections, and put in boiling water for 30 seconds.
  2. Slice carrots and turnip.
  3. Bring the water back to a boil and add all the material and the ginger root. After it reaches a boil, lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and serve.
